Community Bankers Tee Off at the Chairman’s Golf Classic

Annual Tournament Attracts Community Bankers Across the State

community bankersCommunity bankers stand out in the banking industry. You prioritize the vitality of the local community and the families, schools and businesses that call your community home. You know that financial decisions are best evaluated close to where money is being used and spent.

You also know that it’s possible to feel isolated in your role as a locally-based bank. If you’re looking for other community bankers that understand the unique challenges and pleasures of your work, look no further than CBA of Kansas.

CBA of Kansas provides you with not only valuable resources, legislative representation and educational opportunities, but also with a variety of ways to connect with other community bankers each year. When you join CBA of Kansas, you’ll quickly see that it’s a community itself. The bankers involved collaborate on the latest challenges in the industry and lend a listening ear when a banker faces a problem and needs advice.

Some of the ways that our members connect are through the regular meetings, the email newsletter and the annual conference held by our association. We also provide fun ways for you to gather with other community bankers to connect and get to know each other.

The CBA Annual Golf Classic, the Community Banking Golf “Par-Tee” is one of the events we hold to build our community of bankers. Planned for Wednesday, May 31, at the Salina Country Club, the tournament is open to all CBA of Kansas members, associate members, longtime employees and prospective customers, as well as guests and spouses.

The entry fee for the tournament is $195, which includes your green fee, golf cart, two mulligans, a boxed lunch and a reception with hors d’oeuvres following the tournament. Register by May 8 to secure a place in the fun.

The tournament is sponsored at the Gold Level by BankOnIT, Bankers Bank of Kansas and Financial Management Services and ICBA. Bronze Level sponsors include Bank Financial Services Group, FHL Bank Topeka and First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc., Central States Capital Markets, Fitech Payments, Harland Clarke and ICBA.

Join CBA of Kansas Chairman Blake Heid on the green, and get to know some other CBA of Kansas members, too. To learn more about becoming a member of CBA of Kansas check our website, where you can also register for the tournament.
